DROUTH WILL BE ENDED, by
First Line: Aged prophets tell of the weather omens
Last Line: Drouth will be ended.
Subject(s): Drought

Aged prophets tell of the weather omens
Dating back to ominous tales of Romans;
Leaves are falling, stricken by sudden anger --
Roused from their languor.

Crickets give their warning of stormy weather,
Distant roars of thunder and rain, together,
Break their fetters; moisture and soil are blended --
Drouth will be ended.
