HAPPY's the man who does thy beauty see;
Yet happier he who sees and sighs for thee:
But he does greatest happiness obtain,
Who sighs for thee, and makes thee sigh again;
Some powerful star did govern at his birth,
Who for the lov'liest creature upon earth,
Shall in content his eye and wishes join,
And safely say of thee, That heart is mine.
