EMBLEMS OF LOVE: 43. ALL GRASP, ALL LOSE, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: One at a time's enough, one puss pursue
Last Line: Then gape, and stare, and wonder where they're gone.
Subject(s): Animals; Dogs; Hunting; Love; Hunters

ONE at a time's enough, one puss pursue.
Some greedy silly coxcombs I have known
Bobb'd finely when they slip their dogs at two,
Then gape, and stare, and wonder where they're gone.
