First Line: We have been near to meeting
Last Line: Yours will find the way.

We have been near to meeting;
We, whose love's so nearly whole.
A misty darkness
Light as air—intangible,
Falls between
And inevitably separates.
My spirit tries to reach beyond
The darkness;
But there is a wall,
High, insurmountable,
Ever menacing, ever present.
It is not given me to go beyond,
But if entity there is to be
Yours will find the way.
