MARE AMORIS, by
First Line: If your ecstasies implore
Last Line: Where I enter I destroy.
Subject(s): Sea; Togetherness; Ocean

If your ecstasies implore,
Understand me, I will come;
But 'twere wiser you were dumb:
If I come I part no more.

Call it sorrow, call it joy,
There is no escape from me:
Like the all-engrossing sea,
Where I enter I destroy.
