THE THING TO DO, by                    
First Line: For, after all, the thing to do
Last Line: But all will listen eagerly.

For, after all, the thing to do
Is just to put your heart in song,
To let your passions glimmer through,
Your whole life, be it right or wrong.

And some will laugh and some will frown,
And some will shake their heads and sigh,
"These things should not be written down" --
But all will listen eagerly.
