First Line: Swiftly - how swiftly they pass!
Last Line: Tis gone, on silvery wing!

Swiftly -- how swiftly they pass!
Each should be a beautiful dream,
Remembered forever, forgotten never,
In memory's hallowed gleam!

Too soon they melt forever away!
And not even the ransom of king
Could bring back one when it is done,
'Tis gone, on silvery wing!
