Soft lips I've known
And tender hands.
The fruit of love
I've tasted to the core.
Once I have loved
And I shall love no more.

Look not at me
Nor call me fair.
Veil loveliness.
My thoughts are autumn rain.
For I have loved
And shall not love again.
