Enchanting vision stirred a weary heart As Christmas time made cold December see Uplifting happiness the friendly part Of golden sparks that grace the balsam tree; Resplendent glory held a starry light Renewing faith the Christ-child would recall As rainbow colors fused in magic sight That restful charm the heavens bring to all. Content with life, both past and present glowed, From hearth to hearth good wishes reached the crest, As thought revealed more love in each abode The herald's voice of peace by spirits blessed! Exalted beauty pictured human cheer: Our Yuletide gift in home-world every year. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...DIFFERENT VIEWS; A CHRISMAS DUET by JOSEPH ASHBY-STERRY AN UNMERRY CHRISTMAS by AMBROSE BIERCE CHRISTMAS IN CHINATOWN by AUGUST KLEINZAHLER CHRISTMAS TREE by JOHN FREDERICK NIMS ISAIAH'S COAL by JOHN FREDERICK NIMS SOUNDS OF THE RESURRECTED DEAD MAN'S FOOTSTEPS (#3): 1.
