First Line: A cloudless path from east to west
Last Line: And die, as he has died.
Alternate Author Name(s): Davies, W. H.
Subject(s): Day

A cloudless path from East to West,
Undimmed, and shining still –
The Sun has died as he was born,
And only changed his hill.

What words can praise him for this day,
To show my joy and pride –
But that I'd give my life for it,
And die, as he has died.
