First Line: After the storm is over
Last Line: A life was made for that!

After the storm is over --
After the fury is passed,
Then comes the breath of clover --
The storm was spent for that!

After the first wild longing
Has ripped the soul from its own,
After the lone deed's wronging --
Then must that soul atone.

After its passion is cold,
And heart had time to crack --
Taken from flame is the gold --
A life was made for that!
