An' de parson am acomin' along.
We has nuttin' to lose an' lots to gain,
An' de engin' am apullin' right strong.

Dis excursion's gran' an' many am here,
Fo' de price am low -- (considerin' de show).
De refreshments are great, an' nuttin' am dear;
Oh, we's all dressed up wid places to go.

De ole an' de young am aridin' today,
De scen'ry am fine an' eberythin's swell.
We's all happy, an' am plannin' to stay
Jes' as we are for a mighty long spell!
