First Line: Sandman's slippin' roun' de house
Last Line: Go to sleep ma angel chile!

Sandman's slippin' roun' de house,
Jus' as quiet as a mouse;

Put yo' head on Mummy's breast,
Her an' Sandman'll do the rest.

Mummy hums yo' little tune,
Sandman's almos' in dis room;

Now he's gettin' close to you,
An' his work he's 'bout to do.

Don' you open up 'em eyes,
(Sandman calls 'em little spies!)

Keep 'em closed a little while,
Go to sleep ma angel chile!
