THISTLEDOWN: TRIOLET: 6, by
First Line: A snowdrop told me spring was near
Last Line: But I have made no song about her.

A snow-drop told me Spring was near,
And so I'll make a song about her,
Of birds and buds and blue skies clear.
A snow-drop told me Spring was near—
But no, I'll wait until she's here,
For till she's here, alas, I doubt her.
A snow-drop told me Spring was near,
But I have made no song about her.
