AMERICA'S FLOWER SONG, by
First Line: Wild wayside flowers are we
Last Line: Our country thee.
Subject(s): Flowers; National Song - United States; American National Anthem

Wild wayside flowers are we,
Sweet buds of liberty,
In joy we sing.
In land of wanderer's pride,
Often his way we guide,
From every mountainside
True joy we bring.

Aroma in the breeze,
Floating from all the trees --
In odors sweet.
Let mortal hearts awake;
Let all that breathe partake;
And for their joyous sake
Our fragrance meet.

Our folk, we beg of thee,
People of liberty,
To leave us free.
Long may the land be bright
With our glorious sight;
Protect us with thy right --
Our country thee.
