Last Line: Of a new and liberated world.

Burst the chrysalis!
Let the new creation emerge.
Long has this old planet
Been in the throes of disintegration.
Long has it fought a losing battle.
Let it pass!
Light the funeral pyre
With the torch of old traditions.
Fan the flames with prejudice,
And greed, and hatred ... and wars,
*** Watch it burn!
Praying that from its ashes
May arise the Phenix
Of a new and liberated world.
