A MOTHER'S BREAST, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: When among all life's miracles I try
Last Line: Makes gentlest landfall on a mother's breast.
Subject(s): Mothers

WHEN among all life's miracles I try
What highest arguments may certify
That God is good, however things may seem,
On this I rest, and evil dims like dream.--
Each little soul that voyages toward birth.
When it arrives on earth,
Makes gentlest landfall on a mother's breast.
