LAMENT FOR A VIOLIN, by
First Line: There lies my broken violin
Last Line: It cannot feel.
Subject(s): Lament; Tears

There lies my broken violin
Fragrant with forgotten songs.
No more will it vibrate
With great loves and fancied tears.
In each fragment hide rhapsodies
Forever sealed.
Gone my violin; my soul is dead—
It cannot feel.
