Barren trees are whipped by winds Cold and cruel; Drifting snow-flakes fringe the deep Frozen pool; Ghost-like stand the posts with tall Icy caps; Great snow pillows hold the fir trees In their laps; Bunny rabbits, furry soft, Scud away: (Perhaps some hunter fox intends Foul play!) The young moon nestles in the clouds, Scarlet, black...
