At hint of Spring I have you back again—
The blush of apple-blossoms on the bough,
A scent of buds far sweeter for the rain . . .
At hint of Spring I have you back again,
And all the time is lost since then and now.

Your voice is hidden in the thrush's song,
And in the south wind's slumbering refrain;
You needs must come, love is so very strong,
And we who found each other waited long—
At hint of Spring I have you back again!
