TWIN BEDS, by FLORENCE M. KEELER First Line: Now I can twist and turn and scratch my knees Last Line: I'm froze! Subject(s): Eyes | ||||||||
Now I can twist and turn and scratch my knees And no one says, "Lie still! You make a breeze That chills me when you haul the sheets away! What is the matter with you anyway? For Heaven's sake get set! It's almost day!" I twist and turn and then lie upon my back But sleep just will not come, alas alack! Though I count sheep, my eyes refuse to close, I'll have to crawl in bed with you I 'spose -- Twin beds are swell -- but I can't sleep -- I'M FROZE! | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...BANGLA DESH: 2.
