It was foretold ... and Christ returned to earth! ...one cold December morning in a manger He was found by three wise men, each one a stranger To faith, who would have shut their eyes in mirth Had anyone suggested virgin birth As explanation of this sudden danger To the town's stability. The Banker, Granger, Sheriff ... sadly spoke about the dearth. Jesus fled the county home. He tried Telling men the things they had forgot Of love and peace ... but heedless millions died On the silver altars of Iscariot.
