Their scattered sheep;
'Tis time my Lambkin, too,
Were safe in sleep."

Upon your breast
I'll win Me bed and food,
Yea, drink My rest."

"Mary, He's away!
May one and all
Thus willingly obey
Their slumber-call."

"Joseph, build a fold
Of wattled gleams
And sheen o' thatch, to hold
His fleecy dreams."

("Shepherds, gather nigh:
Help Me pursue
Yon scattered lambkins, ay,
And kidlings, too.")

"Waking, little Son?
Lu-lay-na-shoon."
