First Line: She will go no more on the bright waters
Last Line: They will not give her back to us.

She will go no more on the bright waters,
With their dancing flecks of light;
She will wander no more in the garden,
Slender hands full of bloom --
Nor pause by the rainbowing fountain,
Caressing the long white hound
Who frightens the little drinking birds.

She will not return from the bright waters --
They will not give her back to us.
