Men are sometimes weary,
Women sometimes sad,
Life is often dreary --
You must make it glad.
Not some mind above them,
Wise and far away,
You must know them, love them,
You must be as they:
Near to man and woman,
Not a thing afar,
Make your message human --
That's what people are.
