PURSUANCE, by FERN MARY MUNSELL First Line: Daring to do, we invade Last Line: We dare to pursue the phobias of itme! Subject(s): Life | ||||||||
Daring to do, we invade our individual Cave of Terror to force our little fancies along the ledge of life. In the flame of faith -- icicles of fear frozen to our fingers from the cold drip of logic become shining stalactite hung from a vault of hope. The warmth of our magic light melts the chill wall of caution. Unafraid, we breathe the crystal breath of courage. The battle of doubting bats is done -- we dare to pursue the phobias of itme! | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...PRIVILEGE OF BEING by ROBERT HASS SEAWATER STIFFENS CLOTH by JANE HIRSHFIELD SAYING YES TO LIVING by DAVID IGNATOW THE WORLD IS SO DIFFICULT TO GIVE UP by DAVID IGNATOW BY HIS BEDSIDE by FERN MARY MUNSELL |
