SHE DECIDES ON THE LETTER C FOR WASHCLOTH, by LINDEN ONTJES First Line: She is sorting their lives / into boxes, taping Subject(s): Moving & Movers | ||||||||
She is sorting their lives into boxes, taping labels on lids. Gigantic dun-colored corrugated this-end-up boxes, industrial staples like horse bites. She is puzzled how some things won't fit into any category or there's no room in box B4 where it belongs. She has never hated any thing as much as that lave lamp that torn shower curtain with koi patterns swimming through rain. What possessed her to possess it and now to pack it for transport? Her move is defeated by their determined love. Nothing has been sorted out, nor is there any less of it.
