Your brown eyes are large and clear: yet the woman who peers through them is mysterious.

Though your talk flows in melody, winged with thought,
Though you seem so young, yet so quaintly wise,
You are deep, you are subtle, girl-faced woman!

Dove and serpent, is it?
Much am I baffled!
