WE MILDLY WONDER, by WILLIAM A. PHELON First Line: Sometimes we wonder why the timely hit Last Line: omar kayenne. Subject(s): Baseball; Sports | ||||||||
SOMETIMES we wonder why the Timely Hit With bases full, is just a case of "Nit" And why our boys are left upon the sacks, Where all our hopes appear to break and split. We marvel, too, just why the flying Shin Fails all the time to bring the runner in And why our daily doings only cause The Raucous Hawhaw and the Mocking Grin. Oh Game of Puzzlement and Many "Ifs" Oh Comedy of Force-outs mixed with Whiffs When will our pets begin to turn the tide? When will they learn to Mobilize the Biffs?
