I THINK I'VE GOT SOMETHING, by PEGGY WILLIAMS POWERS First Line: Oh, I'm a hypochondriac Last Line: Goody! Subject(s): Hypochondria | ||||||||
Oh, I'm a hypochondriac, Hoof and mouth and cardiac Affections are my meat and drink; I'm as sick as I may choose to think. I'm as sick as I may choose to think, According to my mood, I live a life of novelty, A change of symptom does me good. A change of symptom does me good, For I'm an ailment-connoisseur, Whenever I'm a fifth at Bridge I can take my temperature. I can take my temperature Any time there is a lull, And I can clock my flagging pulse When the company is dull. When the company is dull I am completely sold On dramatic possibilities Of the common cold. Of the common cold and such Do I derive my store Of entertainment value; Could a person ask for more? Could a person ask for more? Could he?
