REGNIER'S EPITAPH ON HIMSELF, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: Without a thought I lived till now
Last Line: On her have ne'er bestowed a thought.

WITHOUT a thought I lived till now,
Let my days slip I know not how,
As Nature's easy lessons taught.
And I am much astonished why
Death deigns to think of me, since I
On her have ne'er bestowed a thought.
