EARN A DOLLAR, by
First Line: By promise I was held
Last Line: It had no peer.
Subject(s): Bread

By promise I was held
To make something
That I could sell;
So bread I made
Called "Boston Brown"
And sold to friends
Within our Town.
One loaf so round
Brought in one dime,
And ten were ordered
Just in time
For me to bring
My dollar here.
My bread, they said,
It had no peer.
