LITTLE Busch and Tommy Hays -- Small the theme, but large the praise, -- For two braver brothers, Of such toddling years and size, Bloom of face, and blue of eyes, Never trampled soldier-wise On the rights of mothers! Even boldly facing their Therapeutic father's air Of complex abstraction, But to kindle -- kindlier gaze, Wake more smiles and gracious ways -- Ay, nor find in all their days Ampler satisfaction! Hail ye, then, with chirp and cheer, All wan patients, waiting here Bitterer medications! -- Busch and Tommy, tone us, too. -- How our life-blood leaps anew, Under loving touch of you And your ministrations! | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...TO L.H.B. by KATHERINE MANSFIELD SUPPLE CORD by NAOMI SHIHAB NYE BROTHERS: 1.
