Why seize on words like boulders and then throw them
Crashing titanic on the spawn of earth?
Yes, men are men! -- ignore them now you know them:
Spendthrift of anger, what is anger worth?
Desist from fury, human all too human:
Joy, rather, with the frolic winds that run
Flying white clouds for kites. Leave man and woman
To the sure justice of oblivion.
Still through the vast blue spaces of the morning
The sun is rising like a stormy fire
Superb in exultation, never scorning
Earth, though he shines on mountain or on mire.
Live like the sun: a gayety of flame
Splendid above the glory or the shame.
