THE STAR OF FREE WILL: 6, by MARIA LUISA SPAZIANI Poet's Biography First Line: Traveling with too much baggage is not a good idea | |||
Traveling with too much baggage is not a good idea. There are things you'd do well to repress, veil, censor, push down into your unconscious. Obviously an operation to be performed quite consciously. Example: years later you've run into a boy you used to love, who at the time was slender, blond, clever, and kind. You know it: it's for him you undress on the Louvre bridge at night. But today he doesn't know how much you betray him with himself.
