MINIATURE ROSE BUD, by
First Line: I picked the little rosebud / I held it in
Last Line: Just lying there asleep.
Subject(s): Babies; Hands; Infants

I picked the little rosebud,
I held it in my hand;
It seemed to beckon to me,
Like a voice from another land.

I thrilled at its perfection
And caressed its velvet cheek
T'was a teeny, tiny, baby
Just lying there asleep.
