SONG TO THE NEW DAY, by
First Line: New day is blushing in the east
Last Line: Reminding me of you.
Subject(s): Hearts; Love; Memory

New day is blushing in the east
With soft and rosy glow;
The dull gray shadows fade away,
The birds trill soft and low.

From depths of night comes radiant morn;
My heart is light and gay,
And in my breast new hopes are born
To match the dawning day.

But soon the star-rimmed dawn gives place
To skies of gold and blue;
The birds sing sweet, the blossoms smile,
Reminding me of you.
