NEBULA, by PETRONELLA HELEN URASKY-CHAPP First Line: Just beyond the words / floats an elusive Last Line: Of an unfinished chord. Subject(s): Music & Musicians; Violins | ||||||||
Just beyond the words floats an elusive nebula of thought, sparks of an illusion light as froth, as enchanting as a fragrant perfume, a will-o'-the-wisp, a melody afar. My spirit on its toes, taut as a violin string, waiting to grasp, to ease this suspense of an unfinished chord. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...NEAR MISS HAIKU by ANSELM HOLLO OUT-OF-THE-BODY TRAVEL by STANLEY PLUMLY HE'D BE NOTHING BUT HIS VIOLIN by MARY KYLE DALLAS THE OLD VIOLIN by MAURICE FRANCIS EGAN THE VIOLINIST by MARGARET STEELE ANDERSON THE VIOLIN'S ENCHANTRESS by WILLIAM ROSE BENET A VIOLINIST by FRANCIS WILLIAM BOURDILLON THE HEMP (A VIRGINIA LEGEND) by STEPHEN VINCENT BENET |
