Just beyond the words
floats an elusive
nebula of thought,
sparks of an illusion
light as froth,
as enchanting as
a fragrant perfume,
a will-o'-the-wisp,
a melody afar.
My spirit on its toes,
taut as a violin string,
waiting to grasp,
to ease this suspense
of an unfinished chord.
