I'm tired! -- just tired!
I'm hungry for a country road
And a vine-covered wall;
For the first leaves of Fall
Crimson in the sun;
For sparrows on a wire --
For work well done.
The city has knitted
My nerves too tight --
I'd do almost anything
To make things come right.

I guess I'm tired, God, just tired!
Feeling dreamy now -- Goodnight.
