ANOTHER YEAR, by
First Line: Another year, I'll have some poppies there
Last Line: Another year!
Subject(s): Future Life; Retribution; Eternity; After Life

Another year, I'll have some poppies there
And here a wall -- oh, not too tall -- of gray.
Behind the trees a little pool for birds to bathe in
And there old-fashioned garden flowers -- say --
Another year.

Another year, I'll have some ideas here
And here a heart -- oh, not too hard -- of red;
Behind the outward show a little pool for introspection,
And there a plot to bury all my dead --
Another year!
