Subject(s): Hope; Love; Rainbows; Optimism

Rainbow's arch against the sky,
Symbolic hope that will not die.

A gift, concealed in storm's despair,
A sign of heavenly promise where

Its glowing colors please the eye,
With harmonies that satisfy.

But a rainbow is a broken arc,
It makes no perfect circle mark.

And like the bow within my heart,
It typifies a hope apart;

A lovely shining mist, shot through
And colored bright with love for you.

But unfulfilled, it trails the ground,
I wish my rainbow could be round!
