PROMETHEUS UNBOUND: THE RED SEA by AESCHYLUS

First Line: TO THE SCARLET PLAIN AND THE HOLY PLACE
Last Line: WITH SOFT WARM DRAFTS FROM THE GENTLE STREAM.
Subject(s): RED SEA;

TO the scarlet plain and the holy place
Shall you come, where the Red Sea flows apace,
And the mere where the brazen thunders roar,
And the Ethiops live by the Ocean shore,
Where even the all-discerning sun
Comforts himself when his work is done,
Refreshing himself and his weary team
With soft warm drafts from the gentle stream.
