VERSES FOR CHILDREN: CHRISTMAS TREE by ZEDA K. AILES

First Line: WE BOYS AND GIRLS ALL LOVE THE TREE
Last Line: TO TELL OLD SANTA CLAUS JUST WHY.
Subject(s): CHRISTMAS TREES;

We boys and girls all love the tree
That Santa trims on Christmas Eve;
But we have wondered now and then
Why the trimmings are ten times ten.

A tree so pretty, green and tall
Does not need any trimming at all;
But guess it is no use to try
To tell Old Santa Claus just why.
