SIMPLE TASTES by ARCHILOCHUS

First Line: I DO NOT CARE FOR GYGES' STORE OF GOLD
Last Line: I HAVE NO LOVE. IT LIES FAR FROM MY EYES.
Subject(s): SIMPLICITY;

Nor envy it, nor gaze with jealousy
On what the gods have. For proud tyranny
I have no love. It lies far from my eyes.
