RED TREASURE by CAROLYN AUSTIN

First Line: IF BLESSINGS COULD BE BOUGHT WITH GOLD
Last Line: I'D COUNT EACH BLEEDING JEWEL BLESSED.

If blessings could be bought with gold,
And I in gems might coin my blood,
For you I'd purchase every bliss,
Right gladly would I pour its flood.

Like dross I'd fling the rubies free,
To you alone be it confessed;
If this could win your heart for me,
I'd count each bleeding jewel blessed.
