DRINKING SONG by AVENZOAR

First Line: A HOUSE WELL SUPPLIED
Last Line: ARE DEVILS, AND WORSE!

A house well supplied,
A door ever wide,
Good wine in the cask,
A pitcher, a flask.

A friend of delight
To greet with the night,
His manners all charm,
His kisses no harm.

And if he deny
Or bid up too high,
The cup and the purse
Are devils, and worse!
