EVENING TRAINS by MARY TRUE AYER

First Line: THROUGH SHADOWY TREES IN BRILLIANT FLIGHT
Last Line: WEIRD TORCHES FLAMING, RACING THERE.
Subject(s): EVENING; RAILROADS; TREES; SUNSET; TWILIGHT; RAILWAYS; TRAINS;

Through shadowy trees in brilliant flight
Swift evening trains enchant the night
Like beautiful birds with golden eyes,
Exotic birds with eerie cries,
By dark mystic pools they blithely fare;
Weird torches flaming, racing there.
