MY HEART by BERNICE BAIRD

First Line: IF YOU COULD SEE INTO MY HEART
Last Line: WITH JOY INSTILLED . . . IT WILLS TO LIVE!
Subject(s): DESIRE; LOVE;

If you could see into my heart
And find the aches, and where they start,
The vial of tears that's instilled there
Made of that which angels share . . .
If you could see the heavenly strings
So delicate . . . yet tender things . . .
You would not wish to make them wail
With mournful sobs, as in travail,
But you would seek to make them sing
Of life, of joy, of @3everything@1.
The heart is, ah, so sensitive,
With @3joy@1 instilled . . . @3it wills to live!@1
