YE rapid troops and light, Who your far-wandering flight O'er every region take, And, murmuring shrill and low, Through shady verdures go, And sway and gently shake. I offer flowerets, Lilies and violets, And roses fair to you. Roses all nature's pride, New blown and open wide, And bright carnations too.
