THE THYROID GLAND by GAMALIEL BRADFORD

First Line: IF YOU REMOVED MY THYROID GLAND
Last Line: ARE ALL MY THYROID GLAND.
Subject(s): ANIMALS; OXEN;

If you removed my thyroid gland,
I should become an ox,
Without the power to command
A single paradox.

The interest I feel in God
Is all my thyroid gland.
My quick inventions quaint and odd,
The glorious works I planned,

The splendid sweep my fancy takes
Wide over sea and land,
Also my various mistakes,
Are all my thyroid gland.
